      How to handle the circuit board RoHS inspection?

      The European Parliament and the European Council passed the RoHS directive in January 2003.       From January 3, 2013, the original RoHS directive 2002/95/EC will be abolished, and EU countries must update the new directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2.0) to local laws before January 2, 2013. The new RoHS testing standard or EN62321 testing version is updated to EN62321:2012.

      The European Commission issued Directive (EU) 2015/863 to amend 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2.0) and included 4 phthalates in the restricted substance list. The revised directive was formally implemented on July 22, 2019, requiring all electrical and electronic products sold in the EU not to contain 10 restricted substances.

      Circuit board RoHS inspection process

      1. Application (the applicant fills in the ROHS test application form and provides a list of product components);

      2. Quotation (determine the test cost according to the product)

      3. Payment (After the applicant confirms the quotation, sign the application form and service agreement, pay the full project fee, and prepare the test sample);

      4. Pass the RoHS test and complete the report;

      5. Issue RoHS test report.
