The manufacturer can apply for global certification from any national certification body in the country or region participating in the CB system, and it is usually exempted or reduced to send samples and tests, no longer needed Carrying out additional tests will greatly shorten the product's market entry cycle, reduce costs and accelerate product exports. The CB certification provides evidence that a representative sample of the product has successfully passed the test, showing that it meets the requirements of the relevant IEC standards. Information required for international CB certification
1. Product operation manual.
2. Safety planning documents (including key structural drawings, that is, planning drawings that can reflect the climbing interval, gap, number of insulating layers and thickness)
3. Product skill conditions (or corporate specifications)
4. Product electrical schematic diagram
5. Product circuit diagram
6. List of key components or raw materials (please choose products with European certification marks)
7. Copy of the whole machine or component certification
8. Other required materials

1. Relevant documents must be in both Chinese and English
2. In order to shorten the certification cycle, the materials supplied should be in the form of electronic documents
3. During the certification process, for some special circumstances, companies may be required to submit other rated-related materials
Regarding the application for CB test certificate, the following points should be noted:
(1) The application for CB test certificate can be submitted by the applicant to any "certification/approval" NCB that covers the product range.
(2) The applicant can be either the manufacturer or an entity authorized to represent the manufacturer.
(3) The application may include one or more factories producing products in one or more countries.
(4) Applicants/manufacturers/factories located in countries without IECEE member institutions need to pay additional fees for each CB test certificate to compensate for the operating costs of the system. This fee is collected by the NCB that accepts the CB test certificate application and will be credited to the IECEE account.
(5) The applicant can request NCB to test the product according to the national difference of the country where the product is sold.
Manufacturers to obtain product certification for the target market include the following procedures:
(1) Submit an application to the NCB of the target country;
(2) CB test certificate;
(3) CB test report (can include national differences);
(4) Provide product samples to the target market when required by NCB.
The purpose of requesting samples is to verify that the product is consistent with the product tested by the NCB originally issued with the certificate, and that national differences have been covered.
Country differences
National differences are the differences between a country’s standards or regulations and the corresponding international standards. All national differences of countries that have joined the CB system are submitted to the IECEE Secretariat and published in the CB Bulletin.
