This series of standards will be officially implemented on July 1, 2022.
The new standard will replace the current standard of the original CCC certification
Among them, the new standard GB/T 9254.1-2021 will replace the current applicable standards for CCC certification GB/T 9254-2008 and GB/T 13837-2012 for information technology equipment and audio and video equipment. The specific update date of the applicable standards for CCC certification is determined by CNCA The official announcement shall prevail.
Scope of the new standard
GB/T 9254.1-2021 standard and GB/T 9254.2-2021 standard are applicable to information technology equipment, audio equipment, video equipment, broadcast receiving equipment, entertainment lighting control equipment and its rated AC voltage RMS or DC voltage not exceeding 600V Combinations, including multimedia equipment for professional use and equipment to which GB/T 9254-2008 and GB/T 13837-2012 are applicable.
The scope of application includes: TV sets, active speakers, audio power amplifiers, microcomputers, monitors, printers, servers, 08 and 09 power adapters and other equipment.
New version implementation
1. From the date of issuance of the notice to June 30, 2022, enterprises can voluntarily choose to implement certification according to the new version of the standard or the old version of the standard.
2. From July 1, 2022, the new application for certification shall be certified according to the GB/T 9254.1-2021 standard and issue a new version of the standard certification.
3. For products that have been certified according to the old version of the standard, the holder of the old version of the standard certification certificate should submit an application for the conversion of the new version of the standard certification certificate to the agency in time, and complete the product confirmation and certificate replacement work according to the new version of the standard according to the TC10 technical resolution. The deadline for the edition will be notified separately.
4. For certified products that have been shipped from the factory, put on the market and are no longer in production before July 1, 2022, no certificate conversion is required.

1. What should I do with the old certificate that has been issued before the standard is updated?
A standard update is required to be submitted. That is, the holder of the certificate, that is, the applicant, directly submits a certificate renewal application with the applicant agency (the enterprise needs to complete the standard application before the deadline for the renewal)
2. What should I do if the certificate of the old version of the standard is already in the issuance stage?
First of all, you need to see when the certificate is issued. If the certificate has not been issued before July 1, it will be called back and re-do it according to the new standard, and the corresponding update fee may be increased according to the actual situation.
3. Do more than one CCC certificate in the factory need to be changed? Are all tests required?
All certificates need to be changed and the test needs to be assessed against the original CCC report.
4. If the 3C certification is still in the application process, can it be replaced with the 2021 version of the application?
Yes, the enterprise can communicate with the applicant agency to change the new standard to apply, but it needs to be issued after July 1.
5. Will there be any costs associated with changing and updating standards?
Changes to updated standards will incur change fees (assessing the need for additional testing based on product category). If the product is in category 08 (audio and video products), it is necessary to supplement the difference test of the EMC GB/T 9254.1-2021 standard (the specific test fee is subject to the laboratory statement); if the product is in category 09 or 16, it will be Reporting fee for change reports (in the case of products without telecommunication ports).
