Spot check object: only for the part that has obtained FCC ID and FCC official website listed certificate, but SDOC is not included in this spot check scope.
Spot check ratio: spot check once a year, that is, annual spot check, and 10% of the number of FCC ID certificates will be randomly selected.
Spot check time: the spot check of the previous year will be completed before the end of January each year, that is, the spot check of 2023 will be completed before January 31, 2024, so the spot check will start around November each year.
Spot check fee: the institution does not charge fees; The laboratory test fee can be consulted with the staff of the corresponding certification body.
Workflow:
◆ The license issuing agency randomly checks 10% of FCC ID certification items;
◆ The license issuing agency notifies the customer by email (the email address of the contact person provided when applying for certification), and the content of the email has a complete and detailed explanation; Applicants should read the random mail carefully and follow the instructions. The steps are as follows:
1. Reply to TCB agency mail within the specified time;
2. Determine the sampling laboratory, TCB institution laboratory or TCB institution designated laboratory;
3. Contact the corresponding laboratory (you can contact our laboratory-Zhongren Joint Inspection);
4. Send samples (the customer provides one fixed-frequency sample and one normal sample (including accessories) to the corresponding laboratory, and also needs to provide shipping instructions, which must meet the warning language requirements of FCC ID certification);
5. The laboratory verified that the frequency was fixed successfully, and completed the test of the fixed frequency prototype and the normal prototype, and the test was qualified;
6. The laboratory edits the report, arranges relevant reports, sample pictures, instructions and other materials and submits them to the TCB issuing agency.
7. TCB license issuing agency shall review and submit it to FCC；;
8, FCC audit for the record, the end of the spot check.
ISED IC certification spot check in Canada

Spot check fee: 2,500 yuan (charged by CB issuing agency); The laboratory test fee can be consulted with the staff of the corresponding certification body.

7. The license issuing agency arranges overseas recognized laboratories (ISO 17025 laboratories in Taiwan Province, Hongkong, Japan, Korea, USA, Canada and other places);
8. Overseas laboratories pass the test and submit it to ISED for review and filing;
9. The spot check is over (the license issuing agency will not inform you unless the overseas test is unqualified).
