      Compared with the previous version, the new version includes the following major technical changes:

      1. Add PELV and related requirements. Due to transient protection circuits and EMC reasons, the market has a strong demand for PELV circuits. Considering IEC TR 63139 (under development), where SELV appears in the standard, the addition of PELV related modifications involves Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 7, Chapter 8, Chapter 10, Appendix X, etc.;

      2. Modified Table 10.3 and Article 3.3.19 for high protection currents. According to the regulations stated in the manual of 3.3.19, the power supply current limit of 20A or more shall be added on the basis of the original applicable objects, that is, the applicable objects of this clause are Permanently connected lamps with a power supply current of more than 20A and a protective conductor current of more than 10 mA, and the corresponding limit in Table 10.3 is changed from 10 mA to 10 mA or in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions;

      3. Article 3.3.26 adds the marking requirements for wall-mounted lamps within the reach of the arm, and requires additional instructions for fixing the cable to the wall;

      4. Article 3.2.27 adds requirements for constant light output function and programmable current output;

      5. Article 4.30 Non-user replaces the electric shock protection cover used for light source lamps;

      6. Article 4.24.2 Blu-ray hazards delete category 0 hazards;

      7. Article 5.2.16 adds the component standard IEC 61984 that the connector should comply with, as well as additional requirements such as polarity interchange, mechanical locking, protection against electric shock, short circuit protection, and cable clamping;

      8. Article 3.3.25 adds the requirements of cable UV protection;

      9. Article 4.34 requires lamps not to emit harmful electromagnetic fields and should comply with EMF IEC 62493;

      10. Updated the functional grounding and protective grounding and their requirements in the 1.2.73 standard, including adding definitions, adding the qualifiers of "function" or "protection" to "grounding" in the clauses; in Appendix G, adding The description of the disconnection of the functional ground (if separate) when measuring the protective conductor current is added, and the functional ground terminal or contact that can be touched should be regarded as an accessible part and tested when measuring the contact current;

      11. Article 4.35 puts forward the test requirements to prevent the fan blades driven by the motor for cooling in the lamps from being touched, and gives the exemption test conditions, such as low hardness, low speed and low power;

      12. Article 3.2.2 Modify the marking requirements of rated voltage, delete the situation that does not need to be marked with rated voltage, that is, all lamps must be marked with rated voltage in volts;

      13. In the provisions of Article 5.2.10, the provisions that meet the requirements of 5.2.10.4 can be used as an exception to the use of flexible cord holders. The additional 5.2.10.4 provides for exceptional conditions, including overcurrent protection devices. The highest short-circuit current reached does not exceed 2A, and the highest voltage of various Class III lamps, and the corresponding qualification test requirements;

      14. The measurement network in Appendix G for the measurement of contact current and protective conductor current is revised;

      15. Modified the contact voltage limit value of irregular DC voltage in 8.2.3c);

      16. Article 1.2.96 Luminaires (PoE) that rely on Ethernet power supply that meets IEC 62368-3 power supply are connected, involving definitions, structures, thermal tests and an appendix introducing PoE luminaires;

      17. Article 9 IP adds high pressure and high temperature water blowout protection IPX9 (80℃) and high pressure and low temperature water blowout protection IPX9 (15℃) and its test requirements;

      18. Amended Appendix D to introduce alternative thermal tests for lamps whose ta mark is higher than 25℃;

      19. In Article 0.2, 4.14.1 was added, and relevant requirements for rail-mounted luminaires were added, including definitions, and rail-mounted luminaires were added to 4.14.1 test objects, and a requirement was added in Chapter 4, that is, rail-mounted luminaires It shall be tested in accordance with IEC 60570 Annex A;

      20. The test method of 10.2.2 to increase the electrical strength of DC lamps is modified;

      21. Amended Appendix D and added the temperature limit to Table 12.1 and Table 12.3. For lamps marked with F, the covering layer is changed to directly contact the lamp instead of covering the outside of the box before;

      22. The minimum torque of the metal gland test in Table 4.2 is reduced from 6.25 Nm to 4 Nm;

      23. Amend the requirements for protective impedance devices (4.10.4) in Section 4.10.4 and Appendix U, and modify the quantity requirements of Y1 and Y2 to be expressed in tables, and according to the power supply voltage, impulse withstand category, and insulation of the jumper And the number of capacitors required by the capacitor type (Y1, Y2 or Y4). The relevant amendments involve Chapter 4 and Appendix U;

      24. Amend the second paragraph of 5.2.14 to modify the category III plugs used in lamps and lanterns, in the original requirement that category III plugs cannot be connected to the grid power socket, "cannot be connected" is changed to "cannot be electrically connected", and The test method is added, and the relevant modification involves Chapter 5 and Chapter 4.
